Introduction to this blog
It is not my desire that this blog be so much about me ; rather that the emphases be on the information posted. Sufice it to say, that I am an old mountain man; who is a disciple of Jesus Christ. My first and foremost objective on this blog shall be to share His teaching; His claims and His promises with all those interested. Secondly, I wish to post some of the old ways and doings of our ancestors as they strove to survive and thrive in this place so many years ago.

My dad (Jimmy) shared the link with me. I am very much looking forward to following your blog, as well as sharing the old ways with my own children. We especially enjoyed seeing the video you made about feeding the oxen. It was very insightful given that we are reading the Laura Ingalls Wilder book "On the Banks of Plum Creek". They had oxen there.
